In life, we can look at things in two ways. We can choose to focus on the negative and we can chose to dwell on it. Quite frankly, I don’t see the good in that and I don’t think it does anybody any good. Life is truly a gift and each day is a blessing. I realize that might sound like a Hallmark card, but it is true. There are gifts all around us, and we just have to embrace them, look for them, and appreciate them. They are here for a reason. Keith Mann is the same way. He likes to see the potential in people and the good in them.
One example is all of the good work he has done raising money for children from the Uncommon Schools district. He realizes these are bright, talented, and smart kids that just need a chance to get ahead in life. He knows things are not always fair when it comes to finances. That is why he takes it upon himself to raise money for them, help them, and root them on, as he is their biggest cheerleader. He sees things in them. He can spot talent and smarts and he knows it when he sees it. That is why he helped hold a fundraiser that raised over twenty-two thousand dollars.
That is why he treated the NYPD on the 54th street precinct to lunch twice. He knows that cops are facing bad press, press he feels that is undeserved. Again, he sees the good in cops. He sees the cops that are saving lives, keeping bad people off the streets, and the cops that are putting their lives on the line for us. Without cops, what kind of world would we live in? It would be a scary one, that is for sure. That is why he chooses to help them out and let them know he can see the positive they are doing and he is going to give them something as a treat.
Keith Mann is probably the most unselfish man alive. He is all about seeing the good in people and helping them.
