On Tuesday’s airing of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, actor John Krasinski, best known for his work on ‘The Office’, revealed that a British customs agent was in absolute disbelief when he shared that he is married to actress Emily Blunt. John Krasinski was there as a guest on the popular late night show to promote his recent horror flick “A Quiet Place,” that opened in theaters on Thursday, April 6th. The American horror film was directed by the actor and it also co-stars his wife Emily Blunt.
John Krasinski shared that as he landed in London to visit his wife during the time she was filming a remake of Mary Poppins, the customs agent almost gave the actor a hard time as he did not recognize him. Krasinski then decided to explain to him that he was one of the actors that was in the American adaptation of the U.K.’s Office, an original comedy television series that first aired on the BBC. When the bearded actor shared that he came to see his wife Emily Blunt during his visit, the agent replied, “You married Emily Blunt?” The disgruntled agent immediately pounded the stamp down hard and let Krasinski go. Krasinski jokingly shared to Jimmy Fallon that he knew he had ‘married up’ after that incident occurred. “A Quiet Place” is John Krasinski’s third film as a director, he also had directed three episodes of The Office during its run on the NBC network.
