Sheldon Lavin, OSI Group CEO

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OSI Group, Sheldon Lavin, began his initial step into the meat industry, nearly 44 years ago, after enjoying a very successful career in a very different industry. Before becoming the Chairman and CEO of OSI Group, Sheldon Lavin held an executive position in banking and owned his own financial consulting firm, all the while becoming a titan in the investment world. OSI Group currently employs over 20,000 people and Sheldon Lavin maintains that it is his ability to establish and maintain a network of employees that are both family-oriented in nature, while still productive. Mr. Lavin got his start with OSI Group as a financial advisor for Otto and Sons. While seeking financial backing for the company, it was insisted upon by the bank that Mr. Lavin becomes permanently involved with the company, taking an executive position in 1970. By 1975, OSI Group was seeing steady growth, becoming a major player in the meat industry and continued its development well into the eighties. During this time period, Mr. Lavin had acquired half of the controlling stake of OSI Group, eventually leading to his position today of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Susan McGalla is the former president of a nationally recognized retail clothing chain; American Eagle Outfitters Incorporated. She is also the former chief executive officer of another nationally recognized retail store; Wet Seal Inc. She is a former trustee of the University of Pittsburgh and is a executive consultant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


Susan grew up with her two older brothers in East Liverpool, Ohio. She is the daughter of a local foodball coach and the wife of a wealth manager. Susan received her bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Mount Union College. She currently serves on the board of advisors for Mount Union College.


Susan feels that growing up with brothers and a father who was a coach enabled her to not view her gender as a hinderance. She has been employed in predominantly male roles and excelled. Her abilty to see people for their qualifications rather then their gender has made her a sought after businesswoman. Her hard working nature enabled her to be promoted to leadership positions that influenced sales while she was employed with American Eagle. Susan had various management roles within American Eagle Outfitters. She was initially hired as the divisional merchandise purchaser for women’s clothing then she held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer for the entire company and was personally responsible for overseeing the launch of Aerie and 77kids brand clothing.


In 2009 Susan left American Eagle Outfitters to become a private consultant in retail and investment industries. In 2012 Susan McGalla founded P3 Executive Consulting. The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired her as their V.P of business strategy.

The Founder and Executive Chairman Norman Pattiz of PodcastOne said that the host Chris has mastered how to balance wrestling content with other interesting topics shows. He said he expects Raven to have the same effect on PodcastOne.

Jericho, the host, also said he was excited to have The Raven Effect on his network. He reported he has known Raven for many years and described him as an intelligent, sarcastic, funny, and most importantly entertaining. He added that is what the network is all about and promised other new shows are on the way.

The Jericho network launched in July 2016 and has ended up debuting new podcast series frequently. Some of the shows are paranormal-centered Beyond the Darkness, Killing the Town with Storm & Cyrus, Keeping It 100 with Konnan and pop-culture based Team Tiger Awesome.
